Wherever you are travelling from, Maple Barns is easy to get to. If travelling from the North, we suggest the A17 then A47. From the West use the A47 or A14. From the South or South West, use the M11/A11.

A quiet back road off the A47 will take you right into our village, where we are located centrally.

From the South / South West

Travel towards Norfolk using the A14 or A11, bypassing Newmarket on the A14 before bearing off to the left to rejoin the A11.

At the Barton Mills roundabout,

take the third exit to continue on the A11 towards Thetford.

At the fourth roundabout on the Thetford bypass, take the 1st exit onto the A1075 to travel through Watton and Toftwood.

As you enter Dereham, you will drive under the A47 flyover, take the next right (before the traffic lights) to travel towards Norwich on the A47.

Once on the A47, take the first exit, signposted Bawdeswell and Swanton Morley B1147, after 30 yards turn right, then take the second left.

Follow this country road until you stop at a T-junction on a bend on the edge of Swanton Morley. Turn right, then follow the bends round sharp right then sharp left.

After passing the Angel Inn, keep on this road passing two right turns into estates.

We are located on the left, opposite the next junction on the right, just before the pedestrian crossing.

From the West / North

From the West, travel towards Norfolk on the A47, from the North use the A17 and join the A47 at Kings Lynn.

Continue on the A47, eventually bypassing Dereham on the dual-carriageway.

Take the second exit from the dual-carriageway, signposted Bawdeswell and Swanton Morley B1147, after 30 yards turn right, then take the second left.

Follow this country road until you stop at a T-junction on a bend on the edge of Swanton Morey. Turn right, then follow the bends round sharp right then sharp left.
